I have been a licensed Radio Ham from 1992 when I obtained my ZR (restricted) ticket. I have been involved in electronics since the age of about 7 when I built my first receiver. I enjoy working DX and strive to work as many stations during contests as possible. I am busy learning Morse as I enjoy building projects and am presently busy with some QRP equipment (SWR Meter, Morse Keyer, QRP ATU) for 40m, so will need the be able to read and send Morse to use it. See the Gallery section for some pictures of the station and antennas. Also some of the projects I have built. On the 21 March 2008 I received my ZS ticket and now the serious DX can start.

The station is situated in Fourways just a stone's throw from William Nichol Drive with a clear view to the West and South.

Active on 80/40/20m using a Kenwood TRC-70 feeding an inverted vee on all three bands at a height of 12m (100W). An Icom IC 77 feeding a vertcal on 10/15/20m at a height of 4m (100W). A Kachina MP25 feeding a multiband 80/40/20/10 homebrew vertical (QRP)

QSL can be done directly or via the South African Radio League. All QSLs will be answered 100%. QSL also via eQSL on eQSL.cc.

I am working at collecting QSL cards from around the world to complete the eQSL awards selection. If I have worked your station, please complete or reply to eQSL as soon as possible.
